WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE WS RESCUE MISSION THRIFT STORE WILL REOPEN TO SHOPPERS AND DONORS WITH SPECIAL HOURS STARTING ON MONDAY, MAY 11.

 

DONATION PICK-UPS ARE CURRENTLY BEING SCHEDULED TO START ON MAY 11. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY PICKUPS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR HOUSEHOLDS OFFERING CONTACTLESS PICKUPS. OUR TRUCK CREWS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER YOUR HOME. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE DURING THIS TIME.

Thrift Store

The Rescue Mission Thrift Store sells home & office furniture, mattresses and bedding, clothing, novelty items, appliances, and more. Items are priced for the budget conscious, making the store a favorite shopping stop for families of every age.

A portion of the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission’s operating funds are generated from its 20,000 square foot Thrift Store. Our inventory varies day-to-day and week-to-week as the Thrift Store’s stock is all generously donated.

We are in downtown Winston-Salem, two blocks from the bus station and in close proximity to Hwy 52 and I-40.

SPECIAL HOURS-MAY 11-22nd – NC Phase 1

Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-3:00 p.m, Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm.

Specials
  • Every Tuesday, veterans receive a 20% discount.
  • Every Thursday, seniors (over 60) receive a 20% discount.
  • Every Saturday, college students and teachers receive a 20% discount.
Item Donations

FURNITURE (All furniture must be free of stains, rips, cracks, pet fur/hair, and significant blemishes)

DISHES/COOKWARE/GLASSWARE (Must be packed in boxes prior to pick-up)
MATTRESSES and BOX SPRINGS
PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS
TOYS

Please note, acceptability is at the discretion of the driver and the WSRM donation staff. Drivers and staff reserve the right to refuse donated items bases on condition and obstacles making pick-up difficult.
